Why Get A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check?

There are many reasons to get a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (previously known as a police check) These checks are often required when applying for employment, Immigration & citizenships, volunteer & not for profit positions, Visa Applications, adoption applications and some licensing and registration applications. Primary employment positions that may require these checks are roles that include working with heavy machinery, dealing in finances or working with vulnerable members of the community.

A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check looks at any guilty convictions you may have had within the last 10 years (this may vary between states). If there are any guilty convictions on your record, we will send the results through to you first before sending it on to a third party if nominated to do so.

These checks are conducted by accredited bodies, such as Elite Screening Australia, with the help of the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) and the Australian Federal Police (AFP). Using GBG’s market leading solution, GreenID system, we confirm your identity and check the details against over 200 000 databases to ensure we have all of the correct information. Using these trusted global sources, we screen customers against global sanctions & watchlists and provide our customers with a full report.

Here at Elite Screening Australia, we make it our mission to make this process as easy as possible for all applicants and pride ourselves on adding a personal touch to your experience.
